Pace and race shape: Number 2 İLKEJDER can take the lead from a normal break; there is one strong leader candidate, but the presence of numerous prominent runners in the field may create intermittent pressure up front. Therefore a medium–high tempo is likely.

Race assessment: Prominent group dominance likely; 5 KURUŞHAN, 7 TEKNİKTAKTİK and 1 BAŞAR SOYLU will be seeking early positions. If 2 İLKEJDER takes the lead, the prominent group could come under some pressure; horses positioned in the midfield will benefit from a good entry into the home straight. 6 MESTAN, who caught the eye in his last workout, and 4 ADISOYLU coming from the midfield can take advantage of the pace on the straight and move to the front. If 2 İLKEJDER can settle comfortably up front he will show resistance; if KURUŞHAN establishes control from the front he could primarily shape the race.

Workout view: Recent workouts on the İzmir surface are generally positive; the latest workouts of Nos. 4 and 6 are particularly lively and quick; No. 5’s regular and consistent workout also stands out. Recommendation: My priority is No. 6 MESTAN, who can attack from the midfield and turn the pace to his advantage; in pursuit are No. 4 ADISOYLU and No. 2 İLKEJDER. KURUŞHAN could be a longshot if he controls from the front, and BAŞAR SOYLU can likewise approach the placings and influence the race from the same prominent position.

Pace and race shape: There is one clear leader candidate up front; however, because two runners will press from the prominent group, a normal break could see a battle up front and an increase in tempo.
